Built in 1940 as a hunting lodge, the Historic Chilcotin Lodge is one of the last remaining authentic frontier lodges in BC, located on the Chilcotin Plateau about 30 minutes west of Williams Lake along Highway 20. The lodge offers ten individually decorated rooms plus RV and tent camping, a fully licensed dining room, and a Burger Bar/Bakery café. It sits close to spectacular destinations including Farwell Canyon and Junction Sheep Range Provincial Park, and won the 2022 Tourism Excellence Award from the Williams Lake and District Chamber of Commerce.
