Townsite Heritage Society
The Townsite Heritage Society stewards the Powell River Townsite, a National Historic Site of Canada and one of the most intact examples of a planned early-20th-century mill town in North America. The heritage district features over 400 buildings dating from the 1910s onward, built to house workers at the Powell River paper mill.
