Cathy's Cafe is a mission-driven social enterprise in Vancouver's Kerrisdale neighbourhood, operated under the Blessed Abilities Society to provide hands-on employment training and meaningful paid work for young adults with developmental disabilities. Opened in 2025 in memory of Cathy Tang, the cafe serves all-day breakfast, specialty sandwiches including a popular Tuna Melt, and dishes like Spicy Honey Chicken Waffles in a warm, community-centred setting. It deliberately cultivates a welcoming 'third space' atmosphere where neighbours—and passing cyclists—can gather over quality food served with purpose.
