Tetsa River Lodge is a three-generation family-run roadside stop at Historic Mile 375 of the Alaska Highway in northern BC, operating since 1942 and self-proclaimed the 'Cinnamon Bun Centre of the Galactic Cluster.' Ben Andrews continues the family tradition with freshly baked cinnamon buns and hand-crafted artisan meats that have made this a beloved landmark among Alaska Highway travelers. On a remote stretch with very few services between Fort Nelson and the Yukon, it offers tenting, cabins, a cafe, gas and diesel, and WiFi — making it a rare and welcome resupply point for touring cyclists.
