Tendon Kohaku is a downtown Vancouver outpost of an international Japanese tempura rice bowl (tendon) chain, born from a collaboration between Nadai Fujisoba — Japan's largest soba chain — and the Kings Know Group. The restaurant distinguishes itself with specially selected Hokkaido rice varieties, a proprietary vegetable-sesame oil blend, and a secret sauce slow-boiled for over 12 hours with more than 15 ingredients. The menu spans prawn, chicken, vegetable, eel, and sashimi tendon bowls alongside udon noodles, offering a hearty and distinctive meal stop in the heart of downtown Vancouver.
