The Studio & Stage Door is a city-owned heritage building dating to 1909, originally built by the local Masons as their Temple, and home to Cranbrook Community Theatre for over 50 years. The venue features an 83-seat theatre and a 1,050-square-foot hardwood dance floor, and has hosted everything from ballet classes to punk rock concerts and professional touring shows. Cranbrook Community Theatre has been producing theatrical works in the East Kootenays since the 1960s, making this a genuine cultural landmark for the region.
