UBC Aquatic Centre
The UBC Aquatic Centre is a LEED Gold-certified facility on the UBC Vancouver campus housing a 50m competition pool, 25m recreational pool, leisure pool with lazy river, hot tub, steam room, and sauna. The facility serves athletic training, competition, and neighbourhood leisure needs, accommodating nearly 1,000 bathers with spectator seating for 460. It is notable for its sustainability design, saving approximately 2.7 million litres of water annually through rainwater harvesting.
