Nakusp Hot Springs
Nakusp Hot Springs is a community-owned natural mineral hot springs facility nestled in the Kuskanax Valley in the foothills of the Selkirk Mountains, accessible via a 14 km paved road northeast of the village of Nakusp. The site features two soaking pools continuously fed by natural mineral springs, set within over 200 acres of year-round outdoor recreation including hiking and biking trails. As of 2025, 70 hectares surrounding the springs have been formally designated as a protected natural area under the Municipal Protected Areas Project.
This place is in the traditional territory of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Ĩyãħé Nakón mąkóce (Stoney), Ktunaxa ɁamakɁis, Secwepemcúl’ecw (Secwépemc), snʕickstx tmxʷúlaʔxʷ (Sinixt), and Syilx (Okanagan).
