Caribbean Village Cafe
Caribbean Village Cafe is a small family-run kitchen on a quiet corner of Victoria's Quadra Street, cooking slow-simmered island dishes rooted in the owner's grandfather's recipes. The rotating menu leans on pimento-smoked jerk chicken, four-hour curry goat, oxtail, cou cou and fried fish, and Jamaica's ackee and saltfish — with key ingredients sourced from named growers. The atmosphere is deliberately relaxed and welcoming, with a record player, bright walls, and an open invitation to walk in and pull up a chair.
This place is in the traditional territory of the Á,LEṈENEȻ ȽTE (W̱SÁNEĆ), Lekwungen/Songhees, Te’mexw Treaty Association, and Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla.
