Fujiya
Fujiya is a Japanese grocery and food retailer founded in 1977 by Shigeru Hirai in Vancouver's Japantown, now celebrating 50 years of operation with multiple Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island locations. The downtown W Pender store stocks Japanese ingredients and carries ready-to-go prepared foods including sushi made in Fujiya's own kitchens. It is a long-standing community institution for Japanese-Canadian food culture in the city.
