Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park Visitor Centre

Horne Lake Caves is a year-round professionally guided caving destination within a BC provincial park on Vancouver Island, and the site of Canada's first cave interpretive centre, built in 2011. Tours range from beginner-friendly walks through spacious Riverbend Cave to multi-hour vertical adventures involving rope swings, rappels, and cable ladder climbs deep underground. The caves are entirely wild and undeveloped — no installed lighting, paved walkways, or handrails — offering an authentic caving experience in a system that has been welcoming visitors since the park's establishment in 1971.
