Hope River General Store is a family-owned roadside institution established in 2001 along the Trans-Canada Highway in the Fraser Canyon, attached to Emory Bar RV Park. It combines a general store, in-house bakery and deli, licensed restaurant, gift shop featuring First Nations arts and crafts, and an ESSO Gas Bar — making it a notable all-in-one stop in an otherwise rural stretch of highway. The store is particularly well known for its smoked sockeye salmon, Indian candy, and complimentary salmon BBQ on July 1st.
