Big Bear Gas Bar
Bear (known on-site as Big Bear Gas Bar / Tuckkwiowhum Gas) is a convenience store and gas station operated by Boston Bar First Nation at the Tuckkwiowhum Village property in the heart of BC's Fraser Canyon, nestled where Anderson Creek meets the Fraser River. The store stocks road-trip staples — snacks, sandwiches, coffee, cool drinks — alongside camping essentials and locally made First Nations carvings, handicrafts, and indigenous products such as healing salves and huckleberry jam. It doubles as the gateway to the adjacent Tuckkwiowhum Heritage Village, making it a culturally distinctive resupply stop for cyclists riding Highway 1 through the canyon.
