The Copper Maker Gallery is a First Nations art gallery and working carving studio in Fort Rupert (Port Hardy), operated by world-renowned Kwagu'ł artist Calvin A. Hunt, RCA, a hereditary chief and 55-year veteran of Northwest Coast art. Visitors can view and commission exceptional totem poles, masks, dance outfits, canoes, and other works deeply rooted in Kwakwaka'wakw cultural tradition. The gallery opened in 1989 as an extension of Calvin and Marie Hunt's carving workshop, and works from here are held in collections worldwide.
