Maverick Estate Winery occupies the Golden Mile Slopes appellation on Highway 97, sitting roughly halfway between Oliver and Osoyoos in the heart of South Okanagan wine country. Founded in 2009 and releasing its first vintage in 2011, the winery follows slow-wine principles—biodynamic and organic farming, natural fermentation, and minimal cellar intervention—producing small-lot wines that aim to express the character of the site. Guests can taste in a tasting room, on a patio, or in the Villa Tasting Garden, and the winery also runs intimate dinners and wine-education Flight School sessions.
