Free vehicle and passenger ferry operated by WaterBridge Ferries Inc. under contract to the BC Ministry of Transportation and Transit, connecting Shelter Bay and Galena Bay across Upper Arrow Lake on Highway 23 between Revelstoke and Nakusp. Crossing takes about 20 minutes on scheduled sailings roughly every 30–60 minutes, no reservation needed. BC's Ministry of Transportation and Transit treats all inland ferries as an extension of the provincial highway system, mandated to accommodate all legal road users, including cyclists — bikes and e-bikes both ride free and unboxed. Weekly refuelling on Wednesday mornings can cause brief delays.
