The park preserves old-growth cedar, hemlock, and Sitka spruce forests thriving in Pacific-swept moist air, with easy hiking trails connecting coastal forest to salmon streams. Located about 20 km south of Terrace on Highway 37, it is a scenic and accessible destination in the Skeena River Watershed for touring cyclists passing through the North Coast corridor.
