Lee Chong Co. Store
Lee Chong Co. Store is one of more than 125 preserved heritage buildings within Barkerville Historic Town & Park, a National Historic Site in British Columbia's Cariboo region and described as western North America's largest living history museum. The park grew from Billy Barker's legendary gold strike on Williams Creek in the 1860s and today immerses visitors in a fully intact Gold Rush-era townscape complete with costumed interpreters and working historical displays. Touring cyclists arriving here find themselves at a remote yet richly developed destination set amid the forests and mountains of the Cariboo.
