Founded in 1986 as Village Market by Pete and Jo-Anne Pimlott, this family-owned 26,000-square-foot store is the only grocery store serving Lake Cowichan's 3,000 year-round residents, along with a large seasonal influx of campers, hikers, and lake visitors.
