Sncewips Heritage Museum
The Sncewips Heritage Museum is an Indigenous-owned and operated institution of the Westbank First Nation, dedicated to preserving and sharing sqilxʷ (syilx) culture, language, and heritage. Founded as a repository in 2005 and opened to the public in 2014, it offers self-guided drop-in visits by donation as well as bookable guided tours covering self-government, traditional tools, storytelling, and more. It has won multiple Kelowna Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards and is a recognized cultural destination in the Okanagan.
