Revelstoke Dam Visitor Centre
The Revelstoke Dam Visitor Centre, operated by BC Hydro, sits at the base of the Revelstoke Dam on the Columbia River and offers guided and self-guided exploration of one of BC's major hydroelectric facilities. The centre is a seasonal stop that gives visitors a striking close-up view of the dam's massive concrete structure and the reservoir above. For touring cyclists passing through the Revelstoke area, it represents a distinctive engineering landmark well off the usual commercial strip.
