Apollinia
Apollonia is an elegant 50-seat Greek restaurant steps from Granville Island, opened in 2002 by owners Niko and Poly and driven by the concept of philoxenia — the art of making a stranger a friend. The kitchen specialises in mainland Greek cuisine prepared simply and authentically, drawing on the hospitality traditions of a proper Greek home. Walk-ins are always welcome, and takeout is available by phone or through DoorDash.
This place is in the traditional territory of the Hul’qumi’num Treaty Group, S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō), səl̓ilwətaɁɬ təməxʷ (Tsleil-Waututh), Skwxwú7mesh-ulh Temíx̱w (Squamish), Stz’uminus, šxʷməθkʷəy̓əmaɁɬ təməxʷ (Musqueam), and Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla.
