Steveston Bakery and Café has been a family-run fixture in historic Steveston Village since 1989, founded by Hemant and Bimla Rao and known for traditional breads, homemade soups, and a wide range of desserts and baked goods. The café offers an all-day breakfast and lunch menu with items ranging from veggie wraps to paninis and grilled chicken burgers, making it a substantial refuelling stop for cyclists exploring the Steveston waterfront. A beloved local tradition — a 99¢ sourdough loaf every Saturday — has been unbroken since opening day.
