Volcanic Hills Estate Winery
Volcanic Hills Estate Winery is a three-generation family estate winery perched on the southeast slope of Mt. Boucherie, a 60-million-year-old dormant volcano whose rich volcanic soils inspired the name. The Gidda family has been growing grapes here since 1978, producing a wide range of wines including whites, reds, icewine, and fruit wines, with tastings available by reservation or walk-in. Seasonal events such as yoga-and-bubbles mornings and wedding hosting make it a lively destination on the Okanagan wine route.
This place is in the traditional territory of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Nłeʔkepmx Tmíxʷ (Nlaka’pamux), Syilx (Okanagan), and Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla.
