Breka Bakery & Café
Breka Bakery & Café is a locally rooted, family-owned Vancouver institution open around the clock every day of the year, with roots in a German bakery founded in the Sunset neighbourhood in 2006. The Bute Street location is one of eight spread across the city, each carrying a wide range of baked goods, sandwiches, soups, snacks, and hot beverages alongside dedicated vegan and gluten-friendly items. It has become a neighbourhood anchor regularly voted among Vancouver's best cafés, and its 24/7 availability makes it an unusually reliable resupply stop for touring cyclists at any hour.
