Lighthouse Marine Park
Lighthouse Marine Park is a 24-acre oceanfront park operated by Whatcom County, perched at the 49th parallel on the southern tip of the Tsawwassen Peninsula in the US exclave of Point Roberts. It is widely regarded as one of the best land-based spots to watch orca whales from shore, with views across the Strait of Georgia toward Mount Baker. The park offers a main campground plus five group camp areas, a 2-mile connector trail network, beach access, picnic areas, and a playground — making it a natural overnight stop for cyclists riding the Vancouver Crossing Loop through Point Roberts.
