Guu with Otokomae
Guu with Otokomae is a Japanese izakaya restaurant in Vancouver's historic Gastown neighbourhood, part of the Guu Izakaya chain credited as the pioneer of izakaya dining in Canada. The name 'Otokomae' evokes 'true masculinity' and the kitchen applies near-artisanal precision to its dishes, making them as visually striking as they are satisfying. The space works equally well for a boisterous group or a quieter counter-seat dinner for two.
