Jumbo Pass is a remote high-elevation mountain pass in the Purcell Mountains of the East Kootenays, situated within Qat'muk, a spiritually significant area for the Ktunaxa Nation. The pass is accessed via rough backcountry roads and trails in a wilderness setting with no developed visitor infrastructure. It gained prominence due to a long-running controversy over a proposed ski resort that was ultimately blocked.
