Chan Shun Concert Hall is the centrepiece of the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at the University of British Columbia, celebrated internationally for its cello-inspired design and stellar acoustics since opening in 1997. The hall seats concertgoers beneath a striking 22.7-tonne adjustable acoustic canopy and has hosted artists from Jeremy Dutcher to Jon Batiste. Located on the scenic UBC campus along cycling-friendly routes, it is reachable by bike with dedicated racks steps from the main entrance.
