Saboten is the first North American outpost of a Tokyo-founded tonkatsu chain with over 500 locations worldwide, serving deep-fried pork and shrimp cutlet sets since its 2012 opening. The restaurant is operated by Fairchild Group and situated inside Aberdeen Centre, a large indoor mall in central Richmond. Cyclists stopping here can fuel up on hearty Japanese comfort food in a climate-controlled mall environment.
