Green Lettuce is Vancouver's first Indian-style Chinese food restaurant, a homestyle Kingsway institution established in 1999 that melds traditional Chinese technique with Indian spices. The late food critic James Barber was a devoted fan, and the restaurant has attracted Bollywood celebrities including Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai.
