Crag X is a downtown Victoria indoor climbing gym founded in 1995 by outdoor climbers, housed in its own building with 15m-high walls, a dramatic glass street-front facade, and two bouldering areas. Its state-of-the-art ventilation system fully replaces the air every 2–3 hours, making it, as the gym puts it, 'the closest thing to outside you can fit in a building.' Beyond day passes, it offers beginner lessons, a transition-to-outdoors program, and a community-focused ethos welcoming all ages and abilities.
