Kasiks Kitchen
Kasiks Kitchen is a café and bakery operated by the Kitsumkalum First Nation as part of their Kasiks Wilderness Resort, located on Tsimshian Traditional Territory along Highway 16 between Terrace and Prince Rupert. The kitchen serves fresh-baked goods, coffee, and made-in-house grab-and-go meals inspired by the flavours of the Northwest Coast, with pre-order options for house-made breads, pies, and specialty baked goods. The café earned broader recognition after being featured on Season 4, Episode 7 of Chuck's First Peoples' Kitchen, highlighting Indigenous food knowledge and the cultural connection to the land.
