The Lion's Head
The Lion's Head Smoke & Brew Pub is a historic Tudor-style pub on the banks of the Columbia River in Robson, BC, re-opened in 2009 after a period of closure. It is known throughout the Kootenays for its on-site BBQ smoker that slow-cooks meats up to 12 hours using local Robson applewood, and for its 12 rotating taps exclusively pouring BC craft beers. Two outdoor riverside patios and an associated AIRBNB make it a natural rest or overnight stop for touring cyclists on the Columbia Valley route.
This place is in the traditional territory of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Ĩyãħé Nakón mąkóce (Stoney), Ktunaxa ɁamakɁis, snʕickstx tmxʷúlaʔxʷ (Sinixt), Syilx (Okanagan), and Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla.
