The Island Grind is an independent, community-rooted cafe in Campbell River, BC, founded in 2017 by Evan Falck and Robyn Yow, with two locations in the city. The cafe partners with Discovery Coffee from Victoria, Campbell River's Stonehouse Teas, and Daves' Bakery to serve specialty espresso drinks, smoothies, teas, and a daily rotating selection of fresh breakfast and lunch items made in-house. Touring cyclists will find a full savoury food menu — wraps, sandwiches, salads, paninis, and soup — alongside baked goods and a strong local community identity.
