Copper Sun Journeys is an Indigenous-owned and -operated guided adventure company based in Bella Coola (Q'umk'uts, Nuxalkulmc), offering sacred petroglyph experiences, totem story tours, ancient cedar forest walks, and river rafting in the Great Bear Rainforest. Endorsed by Indigenous Tourism BC as a must-see attraction, it is led by local Nuxalk guides and operates June through October. Touring cyclists passing through the remote Bella Coola Valley would find this a rare opportunity to experience living Indigenous culture and dramatic coastal mountain wilderness.
