Ancient Hill Estate Winery is a family-owned boutique estate winery in the Ellison area of North Kelowna, situated on a hillside across from the Kelowna Airport where wine grapes were first grown in the 1940s. The European-style winery building was designed by a noted Penticton architect and produces small-lot wines entirely from grapes grown on-site, including Lemberger, Pinot Noir, Baco Noir, and Pinot Gris. Cyclists can taste wines in the old-world-style shop or enjoy a glass on the patio with panoramic valley views, accompanied by cheeses, crackers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
