Farm Gate Winery is a lovingly restored heritage orcharding homestead perched above Skaha Lake on Highway 97 in Kaleden, roughly ten minutes south of Penticton. The property produces an award-winning portfolio of both traditional Okanagan grape wines and distinctive fruit wines made from estate-grown cherries, peaches, apricots, and plums, all produced and bottled on-site. A rustic tasting room, a back patio with sweeping views of Skaha Lake and surrounding orchards, and an attached fruit stand selling heirloom Okanagan produce make it a genuinely memorable roadside stop for cyclists riding the Skaha Lake corridor.
