The museum recently added a permanent exhibit, 'Window to the Past – Japanese Canadians in Sandon,' documenting the internment of Nikkei residents during 1942–1944. Located at the end of Slocan Star Street along a route signposted from Three Forks, it is a remote but rewarding destination for cyclists exploring the Slocan Valley.
