Takaya Tours
Takaya Tours is an Indigenous-led tourism operator offering cultural canoe tours and kayak rentals on Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm, run by guides from the Tsleil-Waututh First Nation. Operating from two locations — Cates Park in North Vancouver and Belcarra Regional Park — the tours feature traditional 35-foot ocean-going canoes, with guides sharing legends, songs, and stories of Coast Salish history. A touring cyclist stopping here would experience a uniquely immersive connection to the ancient Indigenous landscape of the North Shore waterfront.
