Ladysmith Maritime Society Museum
The Ladysmith Maritime Society is a volunteer-run non-profit charitable organization that has been preserving maritime heritage and providing ocean access to the community since 1985. It operates popular 90-minute harbour tours aboard restored heritage vessels departing from Ladysmith Fishermen's Wharf, offering wildlife viewing of otters, seals, eagles, and more. The Society also runs an annual Sea Life Celebration drawing over 1,000 visitors, a Sea Life Centre on Thetis Island, and family-friendly beach events at Transfer Beach.
