Shaw Spring Restaurant is a family-owned Chinese cuisine spot in the heart of Spences Bridge, reopened in July 2023 after its predecessor, Jade Spring Restaurant in Lytton, was destroyed in the 2021 wildfire. Sitting on the Trans-Canada Highway along the Thompson River corridor, it serves Chinese classics — fried rice, chow mein, noodles, and sharing plates — alongside Western options like burgers and sandwiches. For touring cyclists grinding through this remote stretch, it is one of very few sit-down meal options in the area.
