Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art
The Bill Reid Gallery is Canada's only public gallery dedicated exclusively to Northwest Coast Indigenous art, established in 2008 to honour legendary Haida artist Bill Reid (1920–1998) and the living traditions of the Northwest Coast. Its permanent collection includes monumental works such as Mythic Messengers, the white onyx Raven and the First Men, and an exquisite jewelry collection, alongside rotating exhibitions of contemporary Indigenous artists. Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, it also hosts a gallery shop selling authentic Indigenous art and merchandise, accessible without a paid admission ticket.
