Sunken Rose Garden
The Sunken Rose Garden is one of more than 20 gardens on the Government House estate in Victoria's Rockland neighbourhood, the official residence of BC's Lieutenant Governor. The gardens were originally designed in 1911 and later redesigned in the style of traditional English gardens; they are maintained by a dedicated volunteer society. The entire grounds are open to the public year-round and free to visit, making them an easy stop for touring cyclists exploring Victoria.
