Community Peace Garden
A small permaculture demonstration garden on the Vancouver Island University campus in Nanaimo, located on the north side of the campus library. Founded in 2008 as the Community Peace Garden, it is now run by the VIU Permaculture Club as a space for food growing, seed saving, and learning about traditional ecological knowledge. The garden is described as designed to be as accessible as possible.
