Harbour Heritage Centre
The Harbour Heritage Centre is operated by the Ladysmith Maritime Society, a non-profit charitable organization that has been preserving and promoting Ladysmith's maritime history since 1985. The Society restores heritage vessels — including the wooden tug Saravan, returned to service in 1991 — and offers public harbour tours departing from Ladysmith Fishermen's Wharf. A touring cyclist arriving in Ladysmith could visit the waterfront heritage site as part of exploring this scenic harbour town on Vancouver Island.
