VIRL: Tofino Branch
The Tofino branch of the Vancouver Island Regional Library has served the community since 1968, when books arrived in wooden crates shipped by boat; it has occupied its current Main Street location since 2005. With a collection of nearly 9,500 items and two public computers, it is a genuine community hub in one of BC's most celebrated surf and outdoor destinations. Touring cyclists stopping in Tofino will find free WiFi and a welcoming public space in the heart of the village.
