Dinghy Dock Pub
The Dinghy Dock Pub & Restaurant is Canada's only registered floating pub, moored off Protection Island in Nanaimo Harbour and reachable by passenger ferry, kayak, or private boat since 1989. The entirely floating structure offers panoramic views of Nanaimo Harbour and the surrounding Gulf Islands from every seat, indoors and out. Touring cyclists can ride to the ferry terminal at 151 Front Street in downtown Nanaimo and make the short crossing to enjoy classic pub fare and local Vancouver Island beers at this genuinely one-of-a-kind destination.
