Roedde House Museum

Welcoming · Museum / Gallery · Vancouver (Vancouver, Coast and Mountains) · Free

Roedde House Museum is a meticulously restored 1893 Queen Anne Revival home designed by architect Francis Rattenbury, now preserving the domestic world of Vancouver's first bookbinder, Gustav Roedde. Unlike many heritage houses, all eleven furnished rooms are fully accessible to visitors rather than roped off, with self-guided and docent-led tours available in eight languages. Located in the West End's Barclay Heritage Square, it also hosts a regular Jazz in the Parlour series and rotating exhibits, making it a cultural landmark a short ride from the Stanley Park seawall.
