Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre
A non-profit maritime museum in the quirky seaside village of Cowichan Bay, operated by the Cowichan Wooden Boat Society since the late 1980s. Visitors walk a 100-meter heritage pier with themed exhibit pods covering Indigenous canoe history, interactive boat-building activities, and meticulously restored vintage motors. The centre also hosts an annual wooden boat festival and maintains an active wooden-boat workshop.
